About the job

Frank Energie is looking for a hands-on and pragmatic Risk Analyst to strengthen and further professionalize our risk management capabilities as we continue to scale across Europe. In this role, you will work at the intersection of energy, automation, financial risk, and enterprise governance.

As the first dedicated full-time Risk Analyst at Frank Energie, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the role, help build the company’s risk function, and make a direct impact on how risk management is embedded across the organization.

You will help safeguard our rapidly growing energy portfolio and sourcing activities by monitoring exposures and ensuring effective controls are embedded across the organization. You will work closely with Energy Sourcing, Engineering, Finance, and Management to support sustainable growth in a fast-moving and highly dynamic market environment.

What you will be doing

• Monitor and assess a broad range of risks throughout the company including energy sourcing, financial, operational, cyber and automation risks;

• Develop and maintain scalable risk monitoring tools, limits and controls;

• Own periodic risk reporting to management and actively push follow-ups on breaches and improvements;

• Promote risk awareness across the company;

What will help you succeed?

• Experience in risk management within a utility or financial services firm;

• Strong understanding of (energy) markets and risk controls;

• Knowledge of automation risk controls;

• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex risks into actionable insights;

• Experience with enterprise risk management is preferred;

• Basic programming skills (python/SQL) to build effective monitoring tools;

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills;

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment;

• A proactive mindset and willingness to improve processes and challenge the status quo.
